This video demonstrates the supine Thoracic Manipulation (Dog) technique and how it is applied to the mid ribs attached to the spine. The underneath contact hand is just lateral to the centre of the spine, fixing the tubercle on the underneath (posterior) surface of the rib, it should apply a little traction to enhance the barrier, but traction with the impulse can be too aggressive. The therapist is more over the patient, otherwise the normal thoracic (Dog) technique is applied in a similar fashion.
